Institute Site
All sessions of the ASM 2008 Presentation Institute will be held at the Sheraton Boston Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. The Sheraton Boston is one of the official ASM General Meeting Hotels. The Institute will precede the ASM General Meeting and will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 31 and conclude by 4:00 p.m on Sunday, June 1.
Registration Fee
Presentation Institute Registration Fee: $200
Registration fee for the ASM Presentation Institute is separate from registration for ASM General Meeting. ASM Presentation Institute registration fee includes all scheduled meals, conference materials and access to all sessions.
Housing
Presentation Institute participants are required to make their own housing and travel accommodations. Due to the Institute schedule, we encourage all participants to identify a hotel in close proximity of the Sheraton Boston Hotel. If you are planning on attending the ASM Presentation Institute AND the ASM General Meeting -
Your housing arrangements for both the Presentation Institute and the General Meeting can be made through the online General Meeting registration site (http://gm.asm.org/documents/GM2008-RestrationForm.pdf) or by calling Experient at (800) 974-3621.
If you are planning on only attending the ASM Presentation Institute -
After being accepted into the Institute, you will be asked to send your housing requirements directly to ASM Staff, Ronica Rodela at rrodela@asmusa.org. Staff will arrange for you to stay at one of the official ASM General Meeting hotels.
Travel
Boston’s Logan International Airport (BOS) is approximately 10 minutes from the downtown hotels. Taxi fares from the airport to the downtown Boston hotels range from $25 - $45. No Show Policy
Individuals who are accepted into the program and do not show up for the entire program ("no show") are not entitled to further participation in ASM’s Institute or other fellowship programs.
